The warm and mild climate and long sunny days make Almerimar an ideal tourist location. Here you will have unforgettable holidays and the chance to get involved in water sports.
Almerimar is also renowned for its famous Golf Course, which combines water and palm trees with wide fairways and expansive greens. There are 27 holes in all and you can do a variety of different courses.
There is the Bahía de San Miguel, which is perfect for windsurfing all-year-round and the stage for various important sporting competitions, as well as the Punta Entinas Nature Reserve, which runs along a 10.5 km costal stretch of virgin beaches with spectacular views over sand dunes and vegetation. Since it is a protected area, there are no services or access via road, but it is a great place for walks and costal treks.
It has a marina with space for 1100 berths, and which can accommodate boats of up to 60 m in length.
There is also the option of going skiing at one of the best ski resorts in Spain, the Sierra Nevada, just an hour and a half hour drive away in car.
